Arthur’s Christening: Beige is Beautiful

Little Arthur was christened in what can only be described as a Pinterest board come to life. The theme? Beige. But not the boring kind. We’re talking the warm, buttery, teddy bear beige that makes you want to wrap yourself in a cashmere throw and sip oat milk lattes for the rest of your life. Beige is beautiful, and Arthur’s big day proved it.

The room was filled with everything cosy and cute delicate balloons, table settings dotted with personalised teddy bears, and those little cake pops that are somehow impossible to eat without feeling like royalty. There was an air of calm sophistication with just the right amount of adorable chaos (because what’s a christening without a toddler trying to eat a balloon?).

The details were so on point they practically whispered “Instagram me.” Each table had its own teddy bear centrepiece – think teddy bears in bow ties – and the soft colour palette made everything feel extra dreamy. Even the cake looked like it had been plucked straight out of a luxury baby shower catalogue, with tiny fondant bears clinging to the tiers like they knew they were the stars of the show. (Arthur might’ve been the real star, but the cake was definitely stealing glances.)

It was such a joy to photograph this milestone moment for Arthur and his lovely family. These are the days that fly by in a blur of hugs, happy tears and half-eaten cake pops. But thankfully, we’ve frozen all those cuddly, charming, beige-and-beautiful memories forever.
