Burnley Football Club Charity Dinner 2024

Burnley Football Club Charity Dinner 2024 — Better Late Than Never!

Right, hands up — I completely forgot to blog this one. It’s been tucked away in the photo vault, quietly minding its own business while I got distracted by weddings, events, and whatever else life flings at a camera. But this one absolutely deserves its moment in the spotlight because what a night it was!

The 2024 Burnley Football Club Charity Dinner was held with all the glitz and glamour you’d expect from a Premier League-worthy evening.

Guests arrived to a step-and-repeat entrance, giving that proper VIP red carpet vibe. After a few flashes of the camera (from me, obviously), everyone headed inside to a Champagne reception that set the tone for a glamorous night ahead.

Dinner was served, the wine flowed, and the room was buzzing with energy. Awards were handed out to celebrate some of the club’s biggest achievements and standout contributors, and then it was time for the main event. And what an event it was…

The dinner wrapped up with a charity auction packed with generous bids, lots of laughs, and some heartwarming moments that reminded everyone why we were all there in the first place – to raise money and make a real difference.

Enter Boyzlife.
Yes, that Boyzlife. Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy took the stage and it was like we’d all been transported straight back to the 90s. From Flying Without Wings to No Matter What, the room turned into a singalong dance floor and I may or may not have hummed along behind the camera (professionalism intact, of course… mostly).

Photographing events like this is always such a privilege. It’s more than just snapping photos, it’s about capturing the atmosphere, the laughter, the little glances, and the big moments. The Burnley FC Charity Dinner had all of that and more and now I’ve finally blogged it, I’m feeling slightly less guilty.
