Private Wedding Reception at Home – Gold, Pink & Purple Dream

Alright, so here’s the thing: we can’t actually show you any photos of the people at this one (NDAs and all that jazz), but we can tell you that this private wedding reception was pure magic and an absolute blast to photograph.

When we say “private,” we mean it. The whole celebration took place at the couple’s home, which, after this transformation, might as well have been a palace. Think rich golds, deep purples, and blush pinks absolutely everywhere. It was luxurious, elegant, and just a little bit jaw dropping. Honestly, to pull this off in your own home? That’s a serious flex.

As your trusty private party photographers, we are lucky enough to be a fly on the wall for all kinds of events, but this one? It was something special. The kind of thing where you walk in and your camera just goes “yes please.”

The evening featured a beautiful sit down meal catered by the brilliant Barretts Catering (top marks on presentation and flavour, yes, we do notice). And adding that extra sparkle was the insanely talented Emma from String Infusion, weaving live violin into the mix. Candlelight, music, laughter, all the good stuff.

Even without the people pics (which trust me, were full of love, joy, and some seriously good dance moves, even the pyjama’s were on at one point), we walked away from this one buzzing.
